Sovereign opened its first office in Gibraltar in 1987 and has since grown into one of the largest independent corporate and trust service providers in the world. We currently manage over 20,000 clients that include companies, entrepreneurs, private investors or high net worth individuals and their families – and have assets under administration in excess of ￡20 billion.
The Sovereign Art Foundation
The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is Sovereign’s philanthropic arm. Established in Hong Kong in 2003, SAF works with disadvantaged children by using expressive arts as a means of education, communication and engagement. Personal fulfilment arising from creative aspects of art can support development of a child’s self-esteem, helping them to feel valued and gain a sense of direction in
life.
As of 2021, SAF has raised nearly US$10 million by organising art prizes and exhibitions across the world. In doing so, SAF has helped to bring international recognition to many mid-career artists, while the funds raised have made it possible for SAF to help over 15,000 children through its expressive arts programmes.
We are all immensely proud of the work done by our SAF team and immensely grateful to the sponsors, donors, artists, curators and judges for their invaluable and generous support. SAF is now registered as a charity in the majority of jurisdictions throughout the Sovereign Group’s office network.
